KEO Racing race ready for the legendary SPA Francorchamps

SPA Francorchamps 19-09-2019. After a long two months summer break we are ready to continue the 2019 season of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Barcelona was a hard race for the team, we wanted to get good points at the Spanish track, but was not an easy task. we still out of the Top Ten in the LMP3 class with just two races to go, i.e. SPA Francorchamps, Belgium this weekend and Portimao, Portugal the coming month.

Until now in our first season at the LMP3 class has been a roller coaster ride with many ups and downs. We secured the Pole position in the second race of the year at Monza and we want to keep up the pace for the rest of the season. Our car was fast during the FP2 but unfortunately, we didn’t set a clear lap in the last two qualifications.

We have now re-evaluated our season and have come to SPA with the intention to fight hard and get back into the Top Ten.

The team continue with the drivers from the Barcelona race Johan Jokinen (Denmark) and Alain Costa (Monaco).

Alain did a god job during the last race and we are looking forward to another great performance this weekend at the beautiful Belgian track.

Johan is back on duty with the team and is ready to help us reaching our goal.

“I am excited about the performance the team has had during the past competitions.

We managed to take the best qualifying time at Monza so we have the speed, it's time to take advantage of this. As always it will be a challenge, but our main focus will be to win as many points as possible in order to secure a better position in the general classification and to be able to end the season strongly at Portimao” said Kim Olsen (Team Director).
